Fair Trade the White House!

Can you imagine what it would do for the Fair Trade movement if the First Lady got behind Fair Trade like she did for organic farming?!

We recently came across Fair Trade the White House which is a grass roots campaign to "cordially invite First Lady Michelle Obama to join the fair trade movement by declaring the White House a 'Fair Trade Home'." Check out the website and add your signature to the invitation...WE DID!!

Of course, we 'd love it if she had all those candy bowls in the White House filled with Fair Trade chocolates...maybe Coco-Zen, hmmm??
